The Khukuri is a famous design that is a big part of Nepal's history. The Khukuri blade edge is really thin and can be used to cut through ropes and can slice easily. The blade was given to soldiers during the Anglo-Nepalese War (November 1, 1814 - March 4, 1816). This Khukuri design helped the Nepali side defend themselves and not surrender to the East India British side. The Khukuri is still very famous for how it helped Nepali people and is a preferred design for war.
